Hi,
A few pics from our local quilt show in Lindsay, Ontario. I forgot to take photos for the first half, but made up for it in the second. Some of them are just details as I couldn't get far enough away to get a good photo of the whole quilt. Tarantella - 3D folded and beaded Butterflies are all 3d. See photo above for details on the flower section. Black on Black Couldn't get all of this one in.... closeup of next quilt, showing the details of 3d string scrapwork. This lady had done several wall hangings using the same technique, and they were gorgeous. Strings weren't sewn or fused down, except by the quilting itself. |
Oh my gosh, what beautiful quilts! Very inspiring. Thanks for the eye candy! :-D

Thanks for posting your pictures, those celtic ones are fabulous.

Beautiful quilts! Thanks so much for sharing them with us. I had never seen quilts displayed like that with the fold over in the middle. It is a shame their display racks weren't tall enough to display the whole quilt hanging without the fold in the middle on the longer ones.

Thanks for sharing. Does anyone know what the other blocks in that one are called?

Great quilts by some fellow Ontarians! :0)

Oooh. Those are gorgeous quilts.

There's another one at the Settler's Village in Bobcaygeon on Sept 10-11 this year. Looking forward to that one! And I saw a sign for one in Cannington the third week of August. I've never been to either but will try to work in both since they're only a half hour from home.

I love them all, but am really attracted to the log cabin/bear paw in the bear paw. Nice.

Thank you for taking the time to give us a taste of the show! I too really liked that log cabin/bear paw, very creative!
