Where I'm located is very limited in fabric shops. One is Hancocks  and then there is a small shop thats only been open about a year and a half.
Do you purchase on-line? If so, what shops do you recomend? |
Pamela, hello from W. TN. and like you there aren't many shops near me. If you search this site, you will find several threads that give you a fantastic list of some great on-line shops. My fav. tho' is
thousandsofbolts.com Happy shopping! Patti |

My favorite is hancocks-paducah.com (not related to the regular Hancock's stores). I just got an order from them today! ahhhhh, fresh fabric for fondling!
|
Quilt in a day is another good site, but shipping is high, but no tax, so offsets it a little. Also love thousands of bolts. connecting threads, and hancocks of paducah.
|
Ditto on the Hancocks of Paducah.
My most favorite shop is Shabby Fabrics: http://shabbyfabrics.com/. I always get my fabric in a timely manner and I LOVE her fabric selection. All around great customer service. Another shop I use frequently is Fat Quarter Shop: http://www.fatquartershop.com/ |
I love thousands of bolts and Connecting Threads!!!!
|
cool, ive added to bookmarks, although i couldnt see any solid white fabric on thousands of bolts. Maybe im blind lol.
|
Fabric Depot is my favorite.
|
I really like www.overrainbow.com
She has a very nice set up with easy search and many discounted fabrics. |
I like Thousands of Bolts and Honey Fork Fabrics. Very reasonable prices and excellent service.
|
Pamela, I to shop online, my favorite store to visit is www.bighornquilts.com
connecting threads and keepsake quilting! Happy shopping! :D |
Thank you for posting this. I was just going to ask this question myself. I recently moved here (almost 300,000) and can you believe there are absolutely NO fabric stores? The nearest one is 2 hours away, so I foresee more online shopping. I'm one who really likes to shop for fabric in person so I can really see what I'm buying, but I will have to take what I can get.
|
Homesteadhearth.com is great and discounts major fabrics to $3 and $4 per yard
|
Keepsake quilting, Thousand of bolts, Connecting Threads, Burkholder Fabrics to name a few.
|
Here are my favorite places to spend money = )
equilter.com stitchinheaven.com and quiltinaday.com (when she is having a sale) |
Try LittleMama'sFabric . . . good prices, extremely fast shipping . . .we ordered late friday evening and had the squishy package tuesday when we came home from work. Very impressive!
|
hancock's of paducah, stitch-n-frame, connecting threads.
Free shipping means I can add $10 to $15 more of fabric because I allow that in what I would spend. Love free shipping!! Barb |
I use Keepsake Quilting.com and auntbeassewingbasket.com and
fabric.com Mostly I shop at the retail stores, though 'cause I am lucky to have them in abundance. judee |
ebay! Shipping is less for the more you buy. They can get 23 yards    in a box for $9.80 if you buy from the same seller.
