Linit Liquid Starch Concentrate At Good Price
 

I was at HEB in Texas today and found Linit starch for $3.92/half gallon. Until now, I've only seen it on Amazon and Walmart's websites at highly inflated prices (being sold by third party sellers). Perhaps this means Linit will be in wider distribution at lower prices soon. If you're fortunate enough to have HEB supermarkets in your area, check it out. I picked up a couple bottles, but won't be able to try it for a bit as I'm traveling.

I bought some starch at HEB in Houston a month or so ago. It was under $4 and works great. It's just as good as StaFlo IMO.

I have used Linit and it is good. When sta flo and spray starch were hard to find I started using Terial Magic spray. I like it better than regular starch. I dilute it half and half with water.

Thanks for the head up. I don't have a HEB but I can only hope it hits my area too.

I am not a starch user myself, but the ladies in my sewing group buys theirs at Menards, a fairly large chain home improvement type store. Is not the concentrate.

Best Press isn't like regular starch. It gives a light finish on the fabric like the old standby Magic Sizing that is used to get wrinkles out of clothes without adding stiffness.

Purex is making Sta-Flo again! I just bought some on Amazon.

For $15 for the bottle? I don't think they are making it again. That's been on Amazon for a while.

Whatever stock is left is being sold at a very high price. A half gallon sold for $3.98 or less when in full production.

Me being me when I saw Sta Flo on clearance at Walmart I knew it was not being stocked anymore. I bought a lot of it, $1.98 a half gallon. I didn't think it was being discontinued everywhere. Then I noticed other stores clearancing it out. The last store I bought it from the price was $3.98 a half gallon. I gave each of my sew group a bottle of Sta Flo last Christmas. They were thrilled! I heavily starch my fabric before cutting. Terial sprays works fine for that too but I don't like the smell that much.
