Edited: This is a color option of the original Creme Brulee quilt that is pictued just before thttp://www.allpeoplequilt.com/magazi...r09_ss4.htmlhe bright quilt with the instructions. If you click on the next picture, it is the bright color option with the instructions. The first picture of the tan colorway has the pinwheels but the quilt pictured with the instructions link does not. |
thanks for the link, and that is listed as a color option, but it is missing the pinwheels

Interesting colors that they used. It reminds me of an expanded rail fence. Thanks for sharing the link.

The pattern shown on Qb had pinwheels at intersections. Not quite the same as everyone is looking for, but has the same name
|
The downloadable pattern doesn't have the pinwheels.

I put this in another thread about this pattern: if you want the pattern buy the magazine. Put Quilts and More Summer 2009 in your search engine. I found it available on the second or third link I tried and ordered it tonight.

A place I have never heard of - Quilter's Obsession. You do have to sign up to be a "member" (sigh more junk emails) but they take Paypal so pretty safe to order from them without having to give credit card info.
Don't everyone rush at once to their site and bring it down! |
Thanks! :-D

I thought about getting the pattern to but realized its just 2 1/2 in strips and on one strip just add the half square triangle. Now to get that square to be 2 1/2 inches. Anyone know how big your squares should be when making half squares to end up being 2 1/2 in?
|
Don't you add 7/8ths of an inch to the size you want before cutting? 7/8ths to me is double talk for adding an inch, then cutting down. JMO
