Liquid Starch When Blocking a Wall Hanging?

Has anyone used a light liquid starch solution to wet a quilt for blocking a wall hanging?

NO, the point of blocking is to ease the fibers to the shape you want, not force them permanently. Just use water or steam, depending on dry or wet blocking. No starch necessary. The quilt will stay 'blocked' until it gets wet again.
