little colored envelopes

How do I tell if I have read a post? Nothing changes with the type and nothing changes with the envelopes. I have bluish and orange ones. Getting lots of quilting done but not much reading.

Please answer this question as I have the same problem and that is the most frustrating part of this new set-up.

Wondering the same thing! :)

Yes, me too.
I do like it that you hover over the envelope and it tell what the post is about.

I think if you refresh your page after you leave a thread the title will look different, indicating "read".

Also in the right hand column listing the last poster's name there is a tiny blue arrow that will take you to the last post/page.

Hope that helps some!

Look again. This has now been fixed. Read thread titles now go 'unbold', the envelope changes to gray, and there are no pages popping out of it.

Go tools at top of page (not on Board) click on options. Look through each page until you find colors and you can change text, visited links, background & unvisited links. Makes it easier to surf the board.

There is a "legend" at the bottom of the page (list of threads ) that tells you what the colors mean. Something like this.

If you click settings at the top of the page and then click subscriptions or bookmarks, near the bottom of the page it will tell you what the envelopes mean x
