Hi Guys,

Could you tell me what the little plastic hexagons to make a grandmothers garden quilt are called?

Hugs

Caroline

Im not sure that I know what you mean, but I think you are looking for the hexagon template? Not sure if that was helpful or not. =/

Do you mean the template?
You can make your own. Here is a neat way to do it:

They are English paper piecing foundations, and are meant to be re-used.

I think you mean template....then you mark on to cardstock or scrap and cut them up and there you have your paper foundations. I do believe you can buy laser cuts of the foundation papers...but I do it the old fashioned way!

I got my reuseable ones here and just love them.

I didn't want to spend the $$$ on templates...
so I used this website http://www.incompetech.com/graphpaper/hexagonal/ to create the size hexies I wanted and printed a few sheets.

(Just save the file so that if you need more you can print them.)

I re-use my papers until they wear out!

make your own templates using old cardboard (the thin kind is great)....any money saved is good!!!
