sewslow.... I've only been here in Adelanto for 2 yrs. December of '08 we had a huge snow storm, the locals said it was the most snow in 20 yrs.
Was that when you were on your way to Palm Springs? We had a couple of hours of snow Dec '09 but it was melted by evening. Tho the pass would get more snow than we do. Now at 3:15pm it is 99 but feels hotter than that, gratefully supposed to cool down abit the rest of the week. warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |

I love seeing how many are from Washington, most seem to be over around Seattle/coastal area. I have yet to meet someone from WA.

Sewslow ... Oh back then we were living in Rancho Cucamonga.
Adelanto, being the 'high desert' does get colder winters than down the pass, therefore the snow. Once down the pass, snow is a rarity. Also the high desert does get hotter than down the hill, except for maybe Palm Springs. nice chatting with you warm quilt hugs, sue in CA |

I am from the Black Diamond/Covington area. I have seen people from Federal Way, Ferndale and a couple of other towns in Western WA.
