It's called a Spinning Star pattern. Interesting since I purchased the pattern at an Amish store in Shipshiwana Indiana.

I Googled Log Cabin Star quilt pattern and found some good pictures. I think if you find a picture, the Amish ladies can make the quilt from the picture. I found a picture of one for one of my Amish neighbors. It was the pattern with the star made from the log cabin blocks in the center of the quilt.

I also looked up D Lockwood to see if theirs is different. It looks more like mine but it says she uses pieced triangles to make the square blocks, so I don't think it's the same but it sure is close. |
