I'm not familiar with that but I love Kaffe Fassett fabrics!! They make me happy.
But I agree they are a bit manic!! :D |
Here is a source I found for the different patterns.
https://www.gloriouscolor.com/store.php?cat=128 Some of the shapes could be cut using Accuquilt dies to speed the process. There are circles, orange peel and leaves available in the AQ dies. Check the designer dies too as they might work also into the quilt pattern. |
I just made a comment about this author on the thread on buying patterns. Her patterns are awesome and although she doesn't use a sewing machine, you can definitely use monofilament thread and use your favorite method of applique. Two of the quilt shows in my area this year had her patterns this year. They are very unique and are VERY CURVY! I have all my Kaffee Fassett fabrics ready, washed, and my freezer paper traced. I am so excited to get started!

Several quilts were done this year at the East Cobb Quilt Show here in ATL, using the Kim McLean patterns..they are breathtaking when completed. I've had my eye on one of her patterns for the last several years, but there are too many other things waiting to be completed...bucket list, though.

Yesterday I went to one of the LQS that I don't usually go to to get some thread, and what do I see for sale there...this very pattern! What a coincidence. I read this post and then saw the pattern a few hours later...weird :-)

Oh my gosh! They are amazing. Lots of dedication on this one. Good Luck on your new project. What an awesome quilt.

I made this quilt! It wasn't difficult, just time consuming. It took me over a year to hand applique the blocks and I enjoyed every minute.
