Is there anyone here on the blog that is from London, or lives in London? I have a Guild Friend who will be visiting there next week, and was wanting to know if and where there might be a Quilt Shop to check out? Let me know and I will pass it on to her.
Thanks,
PB in MO

not *from* there but been there several times - walked most of London.

The only thing I can think of is the fabric shop at Liberty of London. Verrrry niiiice ... but oh so pricey!!!

The poster named K3N is from the UK, not sure whereabouts

There's at least one other lady, though can't remember her name! I think she's from Coventry, if I remember correctly.

UK shops:

The sort by location isn't very helpful, so just search for London on this page.

Hi..I am from the Uk along with a number of others on the board....London is a pretty big place, do you know her location within London...eg, Chelsea, Enfield etc...that would narrow it down and then I would happily search for shops for you within say a 50km range unless of course she has friends who are happy to really travel.....and is your friend only staying in London or will she be hoping to get out of the city to other places.

I found you this link

And I usually buy from these at shows, not sure what their shop is like though, but its near hampton court so if they are visting the palace

Only thing is our prices are so much more than you pay that I usually buy from America now as even with shipping its cheaper, nice to have a browse though.

Hi...the shop Creative Quilting appears to be near Hampton Court...now that would be a great day out. Hampton Court is an amazing place to visit. It was the palce belonging to Henry VIII who had the six wives...It is a spectacular palace...it also has a great maze to visit....also Kew Gardens isn't that far away...another favourite.
I go to London alot on business and you forget all about the great places to visit.
