i saw a pic of a beautifully quilted lone star quilt that was auctioned off for charity. i have searched and searched for it and i can't find it. i would love to see the pictures again. can someone help me? i used the search box, but i'm evidently not using the right words.

thanks.

I remember which one you mean...I think. it was a beautiful Lonestar and the maker had used double batting so it was very heavy and it was longarmed so the motifs really stood out. I'm lookin' I'm lookin' ....:)

I looked wayyyyyy back and can't find it, anyone bookmark it by chance?

Was it this one? I think this is one of the prettiest Lone Star quilts that I've seen in a while. I just love the quilting on it.

hmm now why did that one not come up in the search for charity, raffle, lone star, lonestar? I tried all those words.

I don't know why...it didn't come up on the search for me either. I looked back at the PIC threads...I knew it had been recently.

thanks to all of you. i'm kind of glad i wasn't the only one who couldn't find it. i really was impressed with that quilting and before i had a real chance to study it, i was interrupted and couldn't find my way back.

no wonder it brought so much at auction.

what did you look up to find it anyway?

I went to the Main Quilting forum and clicked on the Pictures section. I knew it had been recently and I just recognized the title of the thread. I loved it too.
