I need some advice on what kind of quilting to do on a sampler quilt?

You can do each block differently.

Samplers are great for ahowcasing several styles

If the sampler blocks are separated by other plain or the same type blocks then it would be easy to do the quilting of each sampler as individual patterns and then the quilting of the separating blocks all the same. If there is sashing then keep that consistent and do the quilting of each of the sampler blocks differently.

Baptist Fan quilting all over a 110 6 inch block sampler quilt? No way!

Something special for each block and a consistent pattern in the sashing. I'm not a LA quilter so I don't know how hard that would be.
