long arm quilting

I just finished this quilt but it was not without issues the material is dark the thread is dark and my eyes are not as good as they used to be. I thought I had cut the bobbin thread but guess what it followed me down the entire length and this was not just once but several rows of quilting. The machine seemed like something was holding it back but I didn't get the message. Just wanted to share

Oh!, Doesn’t that test your vocabulary. At my house you would have learned new words, haha.

You know when I was younger that would apply to me but now it seems those words just don't appear.

I find when I'm using a thread close to the color of the fabric, I turn my black light on as that seems to help me see where I'm going or have been. Sometimes I'll even turn the overhead lights off and just have the lights on the machine on only. Makes a shadow or sorts.
