Long Arm on the way!

My friend, Claudia and I have purchased a long arm quilting machine!!! We are sooo excited!!! We are getting a King Quilter 18x8. We figured we would save money on outsourcing! We are totally excited we get this puppy at the end of the week roughly!! Needless to say our husbands weren't too thrilled, but considering us ladies are the one with the needles... I think they know better!!!

Just had to share the good news!

Congratulations. I hope you don't let the learning curve discourage you. Once it clicks in your mind you
will love it! Just know that it does a little time to get comfortable using it...maybe the right word is confident
and not comfortable. :)

Barbara Kantola 05-08-2015 01:15 PM

Wonderful news... I'll bet you're counting the days

quiltingshorttimer 05-10-2015 05:12 PM

congrats! Bet you love it. Get some inexpensive fabric (at least 4 yrds) and some bat and be ready to play, practice, play, practice! Like a friend said when I got mine--figure that first piece will become a picnic quilt that you won't have to worry about it blowing away since it will have so much thread in it! :)
