longarm supply tray

Several months ago someone showed a tray to put on the longarm table to store supplies. Does any one remember where to find it? Thank you

I did not see the posting you referred to but HandiQuilter does have one you use on the end of your frame. You can find it at their site Handiquilter.com.

I think someone posted one her husband made for her? Check the post titles that read something like ...my husband made me...

Here what I did--an idea from another longarmer.....two old fashioned curtain rods the ones with the bend on the ends, and a new cookie sheet. screw that sheet onto the rods which are placed across the table rollers hooking onto the rollers with those ends......hard to discribe, but so simple and inexpensive. I have small baskets on mine, one for scissors, ruler, and to hold all the snips of thread....an empty kleenex box....some have used coffee filters too----please don't ask for a pic...don't know how to do that.......if there was a drawing option at this site, I could do that.....

I think Gammill had one on their site.

Silver Needle 05-17-2012 07:14 PM

I purchased a 3 tiered wheeled cart at Walmart. It's made of wire so I put a hand towel on some old cookie sheets on it. I can move it easily to keep it behind me and just reach around for what ever I need; the dreaded ripper, a large needle for burying threads, machine oil, compressed air, pins, ruler, screw driver etc. I have a 14' frame and find this more convenient because it's always right there.
