It's funny, living here in Denver, and not knowing these quilts are on display. Wow.
A friend took me to a play a few weeks ago called "The Quilters". It gave a basic history of the lives of women in the 1800's and the quilts. Very good show. But, in the lobby they had quilts on display all over the place. I stood like a little girl just staring at so many of them. I wanted to be able to touch them. (Why is that? Why do I feel compelled to touch fabrics that I like and quilts that I see?) Thanks for the link, Butterfly. |

I think Glorious Morning was my favorite. But they were all pretty!
Someone did a great job putting that slide show together! Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed this. |
i also love the way they do the music. it's such a beautiful accompaniment.

Thanks so much for posting that. I DO live not far from Denver and had no idea that was going on. I'm going to have to make time to go downtown (I hate driving downtown!). It'd be worth it, for sure.
