smagruder 03-10-2011 01:26 PM

Psychomomquilter 03-10-2011 01:31 PM

dixiechunk 03-10-2011 01:33 PM

For that price it had better spin thread into gold, or lay golden eggs. It is only decorative, to boot. Not in this lifetime

chamby 03-10-2011 02:00 PM

Okay this guy is CRAZY. Oh, but wait it comes with fur, yeah what a deal. NOT!!!

Quiltbeagle 03-10-2011 02:04 PM

...maybe Charlie Sheen is selling his golden sewing machine to pay for child support now that he's unemployed! LOL!

fivepaws 03-10-2011 02:12 PM

You have got to be kidding!!!!! ♥

katlady 03-10-2011 02:45 PM

Some one wants to retire to Hawaii on the price of that one!!!!

nwm50 03-10-2011 02:50 PM

huh ????? It looks like my 3 yr old GD painted it using the $2.00 gold color spray paint!! Ugh,,,,and besides, WHO could afford to waste real gold on this machine? I think he sniffed way too much spray paint right before he posted the price?

G'ma Kay 03-10-2011 02:52 PM

for that much I want free shipping!

Aunt Retta 03-10-2011 02:58 PM

crazy, crazy, crazy!

Debbie C 03-10-2011 03:05 PM

He is goofing on us all - I thoroughly read the advert and he will, of course, take much less, but why would anyone want that monstrosity in their home?

quiltwoman 03-10-2011 03:07 PM

haha--shipping is only $2.21!!

frarose 03-10-2011 03:09 PM

Promo or not I dont think ebay should allow items like he has in those price ranges unless they are worth it.. He doesn't pay high fees as he has a store, but if I were to list something in that price range I would pay big bucks just for listing it.

Sallyflymi 03-10-2011 03:29 PM

LOL. It sure does take all kinds to make this world go around. I am sure he didn't come from Mars..wish him well.

roseOfsharon 03-10-2011 03:37 PM

I do believe he has lost his mind! I wish him luck but doubt he will ever sell it ... 300.00 to 350.00 would be my guess. lol

I did....way funny! Way to promote an item! LOL! He doesn't even know what he has...a 201 or a 66! Sure got our attention, didn't it??

bobbie1 03-10-2011 04:08 PM

Shipping is a great deal!! :D

craftymatt2 03-10-2011 04:18 PM

that is soooo very rediculous. I wouldn't want it even if i could afford it.

thenonnielady 03-10-2011 04:22 PM

nutty!!

gypsylady5 03-10-2011 04:38 PM

Get real!!!!! Gold paint cost that much????

jitkaau 03-10-2011 04:44 PM

Solid gold or only gold plated? Better weigh it first before you decide to buy.

It is a Gold car paint. I have seen a Candy Apple Red, a Royal Purple and a blue with flecks in it. 2 Years ago in Sister's Oregon at the Quilters affair, there were three in a class I took. The gals, were friends and they had Featherweights that were in rough condition, and this guy from California painted them for $500. He completely disassembles them and paints them, bakes them and then puts them all back together. They are beautiful but I would not do mine that is in wonderful condition. If it was a $10 quality, then I might consider it. Jan

debbieoh 03-10-2011 06:04 PM

wow !!! think I'd like 2  Love the questions from people. surprsie ebay hasn't removed it

mmlctnp 03-10-2011 06:05 PM

I guess I am giving these away for what I am selling working repaints for, and I am using "House of Kolor" Paint which is the best paint you could ever use.............

And my decals are 22kt Gold Leaf ;)

Billy

one-and-only 03-10-2011 06:37 PM

If I was going to pay 21 mil for a paint job on a machine I would rather pay Billy!!! at least I would know it would run. How funny I just noticed Billy posted one of his just above.

lnikkers52 03-10-2011 07:06 PM

now i've been looking for a gold machine NOTTTTTTT!!!!

Stitchit123 03-10-2011 07:16 PM

its gold spray you can find it in most craft stores 25.00 for the lg can My husband used it to do a sign for a fancy bar down town Toledo.,and you can see a piece of masking tape stuck on the medal on the left side.I showed my brother and he said "There ain"t no crime in wantin"

GrannyHanaDa 03-10-2011 07:21 PM

That is crazy.
Did you see the shipping?

Ileen 03-10-2011 08:11 PM

That Guy is Crazy.I would not give him a Dime.

QuiltswithConvicts 03-10-2011 08:43 PM

Hey, get this - I read the details - he's only insuring it for $100!!!! I guess that's what you get for shipping charge of $2.21. ;)

Rock Lady 03-10-2011 09:07 PM

Oh well......... maybe tomorrow............ How stupid can one person get? Do you think he used that price for an attention getter? I can just imagine a $2l,000,000 item in my dinky little dirty house. I can't even imagine having that much money to waste.

fratcat 03-10-2011 09:09 PM

Isn't that price supposed to be a joke to get you to look at the machine. Its a sewing machine someone spray painted gold., doesn't look like anything special to me.

madamekelly 03-10-2011 10:45 PM

Did any one else notice that when they spay painted the machine, they painted the rubber on the bobbin winder? Will not work, so I guess it is 'art' not for using. Kind of suggests the price.....

snicktrain 03-10-2011 11:27 PM

Good grief.
