Your DH is a sweetie! Perfect solution and beautifully crafted!

SewExtremeSeams 01-31-2011 04:27 PM

Very cool! I just asked woodworking DH to make me one last week. I will show him yours.

So, are you running your thread straight up from the spool and through which way to your machine? Thanks in advance. :-D

My Dear,
What a creative husband... I would surely keep him....

I have one similar to that that a friend made for me and I find that it stays in place much better than the plastic ones.

I would think it might be.

annette1952 01-31-2011 07:05 PM

That is awesome!

quilterfly 01-31-2011 09:15 PM

Now you have one-of-a-kind thread holding work of art. How great is that?

Rose Bagwell 01-31-2011 11:07 PM

Very nice.

Momsmurf 01-31-2011 11:20 PM

He might want to make a bunch and set up a table at a Saturday Market or Summer Craft fair.....

I'm serious....

QM 01-31-2011 11:46 PM

Great! Tell your DH that his version is even better than my DH's version.

Quiltforme 02-01-2011 12:02 AM

Not much to tell, I thread it the same way I thread my machine, only using this to hold my spools and thread it up and through my machine
