I told my daughter that when I die my fabric is not to go to places like Goodwill. It is to go to groups that make quilts for the children's hospital or a church group.

They need to bring a pickup to haul it.

Ok I finally got a chance to take and download pictures. This is only some of what was there. I already put most of the fabric in my stash. Happy Thanksgiving every one.

My daughter still does not remember the first six months of her twins lives. I lived in western NY and she lived in Florida at the time. I got to come down and help her when they came home for 3 days but then had to go back to work. I wish I could have been there for her longer. So just enjoy, even though you have your hands full. God bless. The moving company had already paid their workers to put it in some kind of order. It was all nicely packaged as if for a yard sale. I do not believe he thought someone would buy it all at once.

I'm delighted you plan to use it to teach other's in your church. I hope some of the elderly who are lonely and need something to fill their days will attend and get the quilting bug. Quilting is great for idle hands and gives elderly lives purpose when it becomes difficult for them to get around. Besides the interaction with others such quilting groups provide.

I keep wanting to start a circle at our church, but right now I have my hands full with a husband who's had two strokes (in rehab now) and a son and DIL who have twins--their 1st pregnancy. The twin boys are 4 mos. old now, but my help is still needed. Of course, my time with the boys is the biggest joy ever--and they were born on my birthday. What a wonderful b'day gift!
