WOW - most of the time I don't comment on yard sale, thrift store, etc finds but you REALLY hit pay dirt. (Umm wonder where that saying came from?)

I would say that's a nice deal. I laughed at your comment about sometimes people don't know that much about quilting or fabric. I try to pull it off, when I go in and ask about any old "portable"(full-well meaning featherweight) sewing machines available to use for parts. So far, it hasn't worked.
