The fabrics are beautiful and what a find. The fabric on the right side of the top two is a fabric that has been or was out for about 30 years. Yes! I said 30 years. I took a class in the late 70s and the quilt shop instructer had several shades of this fabric and used it to demonstrate how you find your first fabric and then match from there. I actually have this in (same color) in the quilt I made at that time. I love it and have always loved it. You go girl and enjoy. Yolanda

It might be nice to "pay it forward" and make a baby quilt or lap blanket to donate. Sort of a way to pay for the good luck/kindness you received.

congratulations on your find!! many years ago when i lived in an apartment complex i pulled in and right next to the dumpster were boxes of fabric!!!! seems someone was moving out and hubby took it all out to the dumpster. of course i loaded into my trunk and the next day told the apartment assistant manager what i did. she laughed and said when i was ready to wash it let her know and she set the washer and dryer for me so i got it all washed and dryed for nothing!!! i still have some of it and use it for figuring out patterns and stuff.
