that I saw posted here.

It was similar to this:

http://luxquilt.blogspot.com/search/label/basket

but this blog doesn't show me exactly how to put it together, plus I was looking for something smaller, like thread catcher size. Does anyone remember where to find the tutorial for this?

Thanks!

I am new here, but have been saving ideas. I think this is the one you were looking for...

I have that one already, because I like that, too. I'm thinking of trying 6", 9", and 12" to see if I can make them stack...or nestle, or whatever. Thanks, though!

The one I'm looking for is a little different. I've seen it for purses, and you sew up the sides in a strange way. I know I saw it on here to make a small bowl, but I guess I didn't bookmark it. Learned my lesson!

Thanks, but that's not quite it. It involved sewing squares into an odd shaped piece, and then bringing the sides together. The pointed edges overhang. Hard to explain...

I like both of them.

Not the one you are looking for but Butterflyspain did a cute tutorial under "Folding Thread Catcher" that uses a hoop and folds flat. Look at that one and see if it will work.
