that I saw posted here.
It was similar to this: http://luxquilt.blogspot.com/search/label/basket but this blog doesn't show me exactly how to put it together, plus I was looking for something smaller, like thread catcher size. Does anyone remember where to find the tutorial for this? Thanks! |
I am new here, but have been saving ideas. I think this is the one you were looking for...

I have that one already, because I like that, too. I'm thinking of trying 6", 9", and 12" to see if I can make them stack...or nestle, or whatever. Thanks, though!
The one I'm looking for is a little different. I've seen it for purses, and you sew up the sides in a strange way. I know I saw it on here to make a small bowl, but I guess I didn't bookmark it. Learned my lesson! |

Thanks, but that's not quite it. It involved sewing squares into an odd shaped piece, and then bringing the sides together. The pointed edges overhang. Hard to explain...

I like both of them.

Not the one you are looking for but Butterflyspain did a cute tutorial under "Folding Thread Catcher" that uses a hoop and folds flat. Look at that one and see if it will work.

I think I found it for you
