I'd like to make a Grandmother's Fan like one I saw many years ago. I could draft it, but would like to just find a pattern.
The fan blades are separated by what looks like a wooden slat, and the handle is the same fabric. Picture a real fan and you will remember that the folds were separated with a wood that looked like bamboo. Anyone have this pattern?

Sounds oriental to me. Do a search for oriental fan patterns. Might find one.
