in particular the star burst in green or blue. I do not understand that. They have it on the classiccotton homepage (only for retailer) but I could not find one single online shop selling it.
The piece I have says 2005 on the selvage and I would be so happy to find about 4 more yards of it.

thanks for reading

Lovely fabric-sorry, I don't have that one.

at the bottom of the page there's a new york phone number. why not call them and find out if you can get it directly or if they can steer you to a distributor. make sure they know you only need 4 yards.

granny_59 01-16-2011 01:06 PM

it is not so simple to call from switzerland due to timedifferenz, costs and having trouble to understand properly if they talk very fast.............
I think I will send them a mail
thanks for the hint

sorry. i didn't look to see where you were from. yes, email them and explain your problem. maybe they can help you. i think the 2005 on the selvedge refers to the year of the design. is there another number that you can reference?

granny_59 01-16-2011 02:28 PM

sadly not. But guess what! I found it at a german online shop for $ 20 a yard............together with shipping (as switzerland is not a member of the european union the same as to swaziland) the four yards would come up to about $100 - for a five year old collection.
Will see

Go to www.missingfabrics.com and post a free ad. Someone may have it. I found some fabric that way to complete a back that I wanted to match. Good Luck!

cmagee84 01-16-2011 02:35 PM

BTW, on missing fabrics website, some are individuals and others are shop owners. It is very each to post and it is free!!!

granny_59 01-16-2011 02:51 PM

thank you. But they say not to post your original email adress and I dont have a clue on how to come up with a different one. Will have to ask my son for help

open a second email address. like, my real one is verizon. but my hobby one is gmail. i only use it for my sewing and quilting stuff. it keeps my real email box cleaned out and the gmail is free. and no one knows my real address unless i want them to.
any fabric i order or blogs i tune into only know my gmail address. i feel much safer.
