Looking for a fish quilt pattern
We are doing a raffle for a boy with a heart defect...it will be by a lake with fishing available and boat rides...
I would like ideas to make twin size quilt with a fishing motif. ...I am starting from scratch. No fabric yet...just looking foe ideas...I can paperpiece if I find fish blocks...or just ideas. Thanks.... |
I have a fish quilt pattern from a magazine, I will dig it out and see if it is on-line somewhere. I'm sure others will chime in with lots of suggestions too.

I am a firm believer in the KISS principle, so I would do something like this: http://www.maryquilts.com/fish/ .

Sindy Rodenmayer has a cute one at http://www.fatcatpatterns.com. It's appliqued fish lures.

I made quick fish quilt for my brother in law by purchasing fish fabric and sashing simple squares. It ended up pretty neat looking, it looks like you are peering at them thru an underwater window.

I've seen applique and paper pieced patterns for canoes. That would be cute with the fishing theme. Here are some applique fish patterns that would be easy to do with fusibles.
