looking for the free day & night pattern
 

I looked around for this pattern for free, and found the night and day pattern on quilterscache and yes it is free it does look the same block.

Sorry, I don't know anything about it. I hope you find it.

The book and ruler makes the intricate pattern much easier to make. The regular way is usually paper pieced.

Try Quilter's Cache, although she calls it night and day.

The quilterscache has the same pattern. If nothing else print the template and then watch Eleanor Burns video. Quilterscache has a 1" square you can use as a guide. If you watch Eleanor's video you can move the voice/timing bar back and forth and take notes then compare with the quilterscache. Quilters cache has it listed as Day and Night.
