Looking for a free dinosaur quilt pattern

Does anyone know of a free dinosaur pattern for a quilt? Its looking like I may have to use dinosaur fabric as the focus fabric and use what colors are in it to supplement. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I want to make it for my 5 year old daughter who loves dinosaurs. Thanks!

Can you trace from a coloring book or even a piece of fabric that has dinosaurs? Then use that for a simple applique. I think that would be cute. You could use different colors to sash each block making it more colorful if you want. GOOD LUCK!

Here's one that's not free but it sure is cute. Maybe you could create one of your own from it. It looks like an easy pattern.

There's lots of free appliques you can get by doing a web search. You could use coloring books like CoriAmD suggested.

Here are some links to free dinosaur coloring pages -- when I use coloring pages I will simplify them by removing lines to make them easier to piece.

Thanks for the ideas! I wouldn't have thought of tracing coloring book pages! Thanks again.

There are always lots of ideas on Google.

as stated here, children's coloring books are GREAT! The designs are usually large and basic. Of course you can add as much detail as you like, but for a basic appliques shape, they are perfect.

You can also copy them onto grid paper and go from there.

coloring book pages are a great way to find almost any design you want and you can always revise it-a tweek here and a tweek there and it will be your own design. Good luck and I am sure your daughter will love anything you make.
