My brother asked my sister if she thought I would make him a quilt if he paid me...are YOU Kidding me...I would make him one in a heartbeat for FREE...he loves Harley's so I want to surprise him with a Harley quilt. I want to use Quilt quality fabric. Has anyone bought any thick quilt quality HD fabric on line?? Since this is a licensed fabric not sure where to look yet.

It's probably out there somewhere, but when I looked a while back the only HD fabric I could find were in sheet sets.

I saw some nice black and white sheets at Walmart but its only 180 count...nope...that will not last.

This may sound crazy but if you can't find the fabric, there is a website that prints your pix or images (probably not licensed stuff) directly on fabric. If you have pix of him on the motorcycle, etc...That might be a nice alternative and then you can use the HD colors around it.

You can find bandanas, sheet sets, etc but very little if any yardage.
What few pieces I have seen went for astronomical prices on ebay, and I suspect some may have even been cut up sheets LOL
HD is very strict about their name and logos on anything... :D:D:D

I think if you want specifically HD, you will have to do a t-shirt quilt - that could get very expensive if you had to buy new shirts. There are motorcycle fabrics that are nice. Kaufman makes some, Alexander Henry. Try searching at Quiltshops.com:

wow...I am so surprised that there is no Harley Davidson Fabric...someone would make a fortune if they did. The ones on Ebay are cut up curtains from the looks of them and also cut up sheets. I would like to make this quilt so it will last so do not want to use a low sheet count. I really did not want to do a t-shirt quilt but that is what I may have to end up doing.

You can use harley colors and maybe applique a design.
