It is the Warm Wishes pattern. There are so many different looks that you can get with that pattern. The only thing I did different was to use two fabrics in the "rail fence" rather than the 3 it suggested.

Thanks again, everyone. I really appreciate the ideas. They are very helpful. I am playing with a Warm Wishes idea. I am going to try the black as my focus fabric and then have the red in the middle stripe between two whites. Might work. Notice the word "try." :)

I love this idea Dina- I think the less cutting up of the fireworks fabric, the better( the dark one) and making different blocks with the red ( and white and blue)
You've insured me :)

How about a Warm Wishes Quilt, just add a Blue from the fireworks fabric. I really like the fireworks fabric. You could also make an 8-pointed star block with the fireworks fabric in the center, with that red or a blue from the fireworks fabric for the star points.

This is very simple using two focus fabrics, but since you are doing a kid's quilt they probably wouldn't mind simple.

I went to your older post to view the quilt and see you used to live in Warner Robins. That's my hometown even though now I live in Macon. Small world!
