Sounds about like what I'd do! Maybe trace the swirly antler and use that as a pattern for the rest of the center panel.

Everyone as said what I was going to suggest. Just wanted to say what a lovely quilt.

ditto on outlining the reindeer and doing something in the border... love the blue fabric and panel. very pretty!

I would outline the deer and quilt a snowflake pattern in the background. It is going to be very pretty any way you quilt it.

That is a lovely quilt! I like the suggestion of crosshatching the panel after outlining the deer.

I love it! Of course I love anything blue, but this has a special pizzazz! If you can do it like the Olaf panel as suggested that would be beautiful. If it were me I'd never be able to quilt the snowflakes like she did but I love them. So I would just do a simple meander but I'm sure whatever you come up with will be great. Nice job!

Meander is my default too but in this case...to outline the deer and do a medium meander on the rest would be very perfect!

Thanks so much! I love this idea of tracing the antler and using it for the rest of the center area! Now I have too many ideas! LOL! Plus the flu bug so I guess this runner will have to wait a few days.

[h=2]Looking for ideas for this sandwich![/h]Maybe mayo? Sorry, couldn't resist. Too much holiday cheer.

Seriously, your quilt is beautiful and I'm sure you will do a wonderful job on the quilting. I hope you're feeling better soon.

That is a very interesting Panel. This is the first time I have seen it. Can't make any suggestions for the quilting, but it will be nice.
