Looking for Name of pattern - FREE Bible Studies Pattern Series

Hello everyone....I understand that the Free Bible Studies Pattern Series patterns are considered "copyrighted", so I am not asking for copies of any patterns. What I have noticed though is that the patterns have 2 names...one is the "Bible Book" name and the other is a typical quilting block name.

For example...the 7th block is called "Judges" and the corresponding quilting block name is Courthouse Steps.

If you are doing this series, can you please either post on this site or PM me with the quilting block names of blocks # 4, #5 and #6? I had trouble with my computer and missed those blocks. I figured if I knew the quilting block names of those missing ones, I could at least complete those blocks.

Thanks. Nora

I planned on doing this series but the photo of the quilt was not not the same as the blocks were so I just gave up.

Thanks for responding. I purchased some fabric on sale and was going to try to make this quilt. I guess I'd better take a look at the picture and decide if it's worth it too. I figure if I've missed the patterns so early in the game......it might not be a good idea to tackle this. Thanks!

Can you post links to them, and I'm sure we can help you find the traditional name. I googled the series and found a couple of them, so I'm not at all sure what blocks 4, 5, and 6 look like.

I googled and found a bible study pattern free at smithowensew.com. Not sure it's the one you're doing.
Edit: according to this sight, #4 is a log cabin. #5 is mosaic #15. #6 is a split 9-patch.
Edit 2: #4 is Joshua, #5 is Deuteronomy, #6 is Joshua. (0:

Thanks everyone for such quick responses! ALIKIGIRL sent me a message with this link showing the finishing instructions and that helped alot! See her notes below.....This is exactly what the order is so the ones that are 3rd, 4th and 5th on the first row are the missing ones......ALIKIGIRL said log cabin is 3rd one.....so can you tell what 4th and 5th are? Thanks for your help!

(from ALIKIGIRL):

It says the blocks are in order, and the block in the border is Genesis, so if you count over you will see the blocks you are missing. Looks like 4 is log cabin, then I do not know 5 and 6 but at least you can see what they look like. Hope this helps.

Nora, here is a partial screen shot of the 20 blocks I've downloaded so far. Names of the blocks are listed.

I went to the website but could not find the blocks. I would love to start on this. Could someone direct me to the page please? Thank you so much.

EVIE, you are amazing. Thanks so much for that list...that will help tremendously! We are only on Block 15, so TUCSONQUILTER, if you join now, you will start with block 16. Here's the info below - you have to sign up for their newsletter:

WOW, I love this but those blocks are way toooo small for me. I know I'd never finish. Would love to see your finished quilt.

there are several versions of blocks named "mosaic". you can find them in jinny byers book of quilt blocks or on her web site on this page. blocks are in alphabetical order. scroll down to "m's"

https://www.jinnybeyer.com/quilting-...kname&limit=48

also another example from this website for block #5

blockcrazy.com is a good site for looking for block patterns as is jinny beyers site above.

If you click on the BOM, then click on View All, you will find pictures up to block 26 Ezekial. I have sent a note asking how to join this BOM. It is a neat program.
