The star quilt pattern we all contributed to is on the Moda site, I think. If not, it's on the Quilts of Valor site.

Try this site:
http://www.maryquilts.com/ scroll down and look thru the list of free instruction sheets. She has a new RWB bricks and I did the Churn Dash and Stars in RWB. If you go to that page and scroll down, she posted a picture of my quilt. PS its free... |
I found this page with a lot of free patriotic patterns. Hope this helps you.

I found this table runner pattern last night on a website provided by craftybear. I plan to make two of the stars and stripes patterns and sewing them together side by side than finish as descibed. I am making this for a friend confined to a wheelchair who was in Vietnam. It should be a good lap quilt size for him. If it is not wide enough than I can add another half repeat. http://www.this-n-thatfabrics.com/starsandstripes11.pdf |
go to windhamfabric.com; they have alot of free projects. I did the hearts of valor one. Very easy to follow

I made my own when our guild was giving them to the Veterans. I made a star block out of red, white and blue fabric and then used sashing of red with white stars for cornerstones. The fabric colors are what makes it patriotic.
