I'm looking for a pattern for a face mask.
My father is on Oxygen when needed for his heart failure. He said when I spoke to him earlier today that the wind and cold are so much on him he feels like he is going to black out if not careful.
I know I saw one once but didn't save the pattern. I'm looking for something that looks not so medical-thank you

I didn't use a pattern for my Grandpa, we just sewed a tube of polar fleece (double if you want) to fit over his head and slid down to his neck, loose enough that he could pull it up from his neck over his face when needed. His tube from his breather fit nicely under it. He loved it!

I wish you luck in finding one. I am sure that someone will have an idea.

Thats what we did for my dad..a fleece cowl,he could pull up over his nose. no pattern. although he didn't have oxygen tube to deal with.
the cold air is very dangerous to breathe in,when you have a heart condition.

This is the mask I use when it gets to around the low 40's. I have had it for several years and love it. It warms the air as you breath in. I use it for any outdoor activity, even walking to the car can cause me to have an asthma attack in cold weather.
