Looking for pattern
Does anyone know what pattern this is? I've looked online and all I come up with are photos. I would love to find the pattern or even a kit.

I think it looks like someone just made it up as they went....it sure is gorgeous!

its a scrappy sampler- someone just made- there is no actual quilt pattern for it- you could 'copy' some of the different sampler blocks she incorporated into the quilt and create your own but you can not make hers= that is one of the great things about scrappy quilts :) they are a 'personal journey' no one can really replicate.
She called it "Scraparadise" it is a beautiful quilt. Another lady was doing one in darker colors, but I think the pastel colors really make the quilt. That other lady was saying the instructions were in German.

Closest you will get to pattern info is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ilively...7605501238460/

This is her blog http://blog.csquiltdesign.de/ You can her contact info there.

Yep it's just a scrappy sampler......it is beautiful.....

Thanks everyone. Every thing points to Christiane Struck in Germany. I found one reference that said she did it as a BOM but that was in 2008. I can't seem to find a place on her blog to send an email or request info. Any ideas?
I was finally able to find the contact information thanks to Google Translate (what a wonderful thing). I'm thinking if it was done as a BOM there must be a pattern available. Thanks Bellaboo for the additional photo reference and leatheflea for the info.

For anyone interested, here is a link to the instructions (they are in German but you can use Google Translate).

Have to agree. I think it was just laid out and pieced either as she went along or after it was all laid out. Beautiful use of scraps. Might look in some of the scrappy books and magazines for something similar. Probably easier to take the picture and do your own from that.
I wasn't able to click on "Block of the Month Sampler (16)" :( It is a lovely quilt, though.
Boy that is gorgeous! I agree it is a combination of everything and anything.

Okay, found that when you tried to access translation for each step, the wheels fell off the wagon. You could just get out the graph paper and start drawing, but I think it would be easier to actually identify each individual block (looks like there are 10 different ones) and Step 11 gives the placement in a diagram. It sure is beautiful but colour is what absolutely makes this quilt. Hmmmm....wonder if my 91 year old mother could translate it for me....
I am not a big fan of most scrappy quilts, but this one is very pretty!
I can't find where to translate. Used to seeing a button for this. Help please.

If you want to get to the actual site, in order to learn about the block of the month,(the German one) you need to sign in as a member first. It did say that it was free. I did not try to sign up though. All the other information about the block is only telling you what the block can be used for. If you really want to know more about the block let me know and I will try becoming a member.

Looks like a sampler quilt made from different sized blocks. Don't think you will find a pattern for it. Think it will have to be created using EQ7 or something like that.

Looks like a sampler quilt, using all the extra blocks she had leftover, or made blocks of all her favorite blocks.
It is totally gorgeous. I don't blame you for wanting to make it. I have enough projects in my bucket list to last through a couple of lifetimes so I think I'll pass, but would love to see yours if you go for it. :)
Click on the links in the posts, they give you a PDF, and although not in english, she does have templates so it should be easy to figure out how to do it.
If you click on the side bar "Scraparadise", you can see that there was a whole group of quilters who made them all together. It was a BOM posted on a blog, and they all posted pics as they went. :)
Some very creative and talented quilter must have made that. I've never seen a pattern like that.
Why don't you try emailing the person that the photo belongs to. If she made up the pattern maybe she will share or sell it to you.
