Otis I went to the generations site and this is how I saw it. it is the Snail Trail block surrounded by the sashing that is on the site as a template download. At the end there is a link for the Storm at Sea paper piecing quilt block and click on it and it will fit this Snail Trail block at http://compuquilt.com
The Snail Trail block will finish at 6 inches and so will the sashing. |

I know that its on that generations-quilt pattern site - but it doesn't really give a pattern. I think its just straight storm at sea blocks with snails trail in between. I don't have any EQ software so I am trying to figure out sizes - it doesn't give you that at the website.

I found it here:
http://www.generations-quilt-pattern...t-pattern.html You do have to scroll down a bit on the page to get to this specific pattern. |
Before I read Prism99's comment, I was going to say that it looks like snails trails blocks with the sashing making the second block appear, but since she gave you the site, I won't do that. What I will say is that is one gorgeous quilt pattern, it would make a knock out quilt.

I can see myself spending time on this site. - katesnanna I agree with both of them. It looks like fun. I signed up for the generations quilt newsletter as well. |

Another pattern that is close to this is "Shakespeare in the Park" by Judy Martin. It's been on my to do list for awhile! http://www.pinterest.com/search/pins...t&rs=ac&len=18

That is so lovely! I want to make it too! I'd want to make the snail's trail bigger as well so it wouldn't take so long!
