Looking for a pattern

Hello,
I am looking for the pattern for a red quilt featured on the cover of American Patchwork and Quilting's 2011 Calendar. I can't seem to find the pattern name/artist and can no longer find a copy of the calendar to purchase.

The cover of the calendar can be seen on this link:

Thanks for the help!!

Here is a link to purchase the calendar, which had all the instructions for all the patterns in the 2011 Calendar -

Happy Sewing!

Oops, it looks like it's sold out.

If you have a subscription to American Patchwork, you can go on the website, get into past issues and see if you can find the pattern that way. I would think if it was on the calendar, it probably was in their magazine at one time.

Yes, check with the publisher by calling and I am sure they will sell you the calendar if they still have any in stock.

The block is Blackford's Beauty. I THINK there are two but in different colorways and looks like theyn are set onpoint. The corner 9 patch unit could be a variation. Wish I could see the whole quilt! Its lovely!

Definitely a Blackford's Beauty block set on point. Here is a free 12" one on Quilter's Cache http://www.quilterscache.com/B/Black...autyBlock.html

Here is another with a tutorial. http://www.quilt-lovers-guide.com/bl...#axzz3SxYr5yL1

Personally, if it were me, I would upsize the block to a 16" finished so that all the small squares will finish at 2". It is a really pretty quilt.

This does not look like the Blackford's Beauty I am familiar with, which would use tri-recs for the star points. This one from the calendar and Quilter's Cache look more like a variation branching out from the Sawtooth Star center.
