looking for a pattern

Hello ladies, I am looking for a pattern that uses 1 charm square and a 2.5 inch square in the upper right hand corner and possibly one 2.5 inch square in the bottom left hand corner. I know that's not much to go on and I apologize. I hope some one can help. It was a simple quilt to do. So mad at myself for not writing this down. Thank you.

Is is possible for you to draw a picture then photograph the picture and post it here? Because what you describe sounds like a 4 patch, because a charm square is 5 inch square, then if you put a 2.5 in square in the opposite corners it would look like a 4 patch.

Or are you talking about sewing the 2.5 inch square onto the corner, folding it down to make it look like a triangle? Then when you sew the squares together they look like little bows?

There is the Silly Goose Pattern by MSQC, that the way it is placed looks like a vertical Chevron style.

When I am trying to recreate a pattern, I get out my graph paper and draw the elements that I remember. Often that is enough to jog my memory. Were there strips around the charm square--making it look sort of like a modified irish chain?

Have you looked thru Google Images??

I wonder if you are talking about a D9P:

That sounds like a pattern from Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Company, but I cannot remember which one. Go to the Missouri Star web site, click on today's daily deal, down near the bottom of the story is a link to all the charm pack patterns. Are you sure it was not with layer cakes? The one I remember snowballs opposite corners of a layer cake square. Good luck. Sharon

thank you that is what it was. Jenny calls it her Silly Goose Quilt.

Thank you so much, you saved what little mind I have left. HaHa!

Sounds like a Hatchet pattern to me. They even make a template for this type of quilt. Try Googling it.

Is it a block that is snow balled on each corner?

If and when I get bored with tv, I look at the different videos. Jenny has many. She makes so many so easy with her techniques.
