Looking for a Pattern....
 

...for this quilt.....It seems to be a variation of Kite Tail Tango, which I purchased from Craftsy, but I'm not 100% sure how to do it and I'm wondering if there is an actual pattern somewhere for it?

That is an interesting layout for the quilt. I found this site that says she sells the pattern but the layout is different from your link https://procrasticraft.com/tag/kite-tail-tango/ . There are lots of images in Google for the name of the quilt.

Interesting. Looks like improvisational piecing.

The block is fairly simple. This is my interpretation of it:

It's the layout that gets a little tricky. You have to rotate some and flip some. I managed to come up with this [just the center part of this pic]:

Looks like they just snowballed grey squares with random sizes of colored corners. Some are put on at different angles. Would be fun not trying to make perfect corners.

Watson .... I think you can simplify the frustration of which block goes where.
There are two different blocks in the quilt you have referred us to.
Each is made of four smaller blocks that QuiltnNan drew, but two different layouts.
Make a stack of each block style and then laying them out will be simplified dramatically!!

The only concern I would have is whether the angle that is in the diagram is the angle you would need/want to get the effects when they are pieced together in the quilt. Before I would start with fabric, I think I would do some paper practice blocks .... or play with them on the computer to check that angle.

And too, the angle may be bang on!

I have a video class from Craftsy that explains how to make these "flip and stitch" blocks with the triangle in the corner at different angles, so I think I'm good to go there. Good idea to make up the blocks of four and then place them that way.

I haven't decided between this one and the other one, Kite Tail Tango. I bought that pattern and really like it, too.

And here's my suggestion for how to make the corners snowballed but with those interesting angles.
