Hi...I was wondering if anybody has a pattern for a bag or tote that holds your thimble, scissors, needles, etc, to take to quilt club. Right now I am using a small cardboard box. Thanks

I have 2 glasses cases, one plastic that snaps closed real tight, and one zippered. They hold items like that real well, and I paid a quarter for them at the thrift store. I know you asked for a pattern, but I thought I'd share alternative ideas.

I bought a small lunch box at JoAnn's. It was in their $1-$2 aisle. Actually, I have two now. One holds my pins, rotary cutter, small scissors, thread, 6" slide ruler, etc., for taking to classes.

The other one I use to carry my EPP hexagons, pre-cut fabric, thread and needles. It's handy for traveling in the car, hospital visits, etc., when I need something to keep my hands busy.

Have you checked the links section? Sondray puts things like this up all the time.
Also, check the regular pattern companys, like McCall's and butterick, ect. They have some really nice sewing totes with accessories. The Hancock Fabrics Store puts them on sale for a buck several times a year.

I was going to suggest the links section too.

Go look in the school supplies aisle for a pencil box. There are hard plastic ones, soft plastic ones and zippered bags. They all work great.

Try this pattern, it's very easy! Here's the one I made and it is so roomy too!
