She's right! I just read an article about copyright & the patterns & designs.If WE buy the magazine with the pattern, there is an implied permission to make the article. But on some you still cannot show them in a show or contest. It might have been in McCalls quilter magazine. I'll look it up & find it. Someone else was talking about doing the same thing??
