I have searched everywhere and I am unable to locate this pattern it is an applique pattern, and it is part of the Sunbonnet Sue line I believe, she has a full skirt and is holding an umberella. Any help locating this pattern would be greatly appreciated.

I have one but I don't think it's what you are looking for. I think I know what you are looking for. I have the book 501 Quilt Blocks and she is called Singing in the Rain. I think you want the one that look more like a young lady. I can send this to you or you can look for it at the library, my library has the book too. Just PM me if you want this.

Here is a free pattern for Umbrella Girl that might be what you are looking for.http://sunbonnetsue.com/September2000.htm

It is in a book by Oxmoor House--Sunbonnet Sue's Neighborhood, Quilts Made Easy The price tag says it came from Wal Mart I don't know how many years ago.

It is different than the free one above.

ANLMLVR,
I believe I have the umbrella lady applique pattern you are looking for. Please open attachment, and you can print it out, enlarge it, or minimize it as needed. Its a free pattern.

That's a different one than I remember seeing but she's cute. The one I remember had a much larger umbrella and not a sun bonnet.

Try this one. When you get to the site click on the pattern photo and it will be printable. Luann

You might also check out pictures using southern belle as your search topic.

I believe Eleanor Burns put out a book with that pattern. I could be wrong, as it could be by a different author, but there is definitely a book out with quilts made of that pattern. I remember a friend of mine bought it, several years ago. It had the parasol ladies on the cover.

I would suggest Bonnet Girls. http://www.bonnetgirls.com/ Warning, don't go to the site unless you want to smile and feel better.

Bonnet Girls! That's the name of the book my friend bought and I couldn't remember! Thanks, Onebyone, I did a search and couldn't find it because I used every possible word in my search except "bonnet" (parasol, umbrella ladies, etc.) I was starting to think I dreamt it all up, lol.
