There used to be one on Carol Doak's free pattern page, I haven't checked the site for a while though.

I did a log cabin for a friend recently diagnosed. Used some "ribbon" fabric plus some bright (including an almost "neon" green) floral. Got rave reviews from everyone who saw it. It doesn't have to be just cancer, it can be cheerful with an imbedded thread of the theme.
