I have searched the web and can t find where I can buy this pattern.....any suggestions ?...It s on e-bay,,,but says it was sold in March....don t understand why they are still showing it

Make your own pattern. Study it for a while and then copy it. The blades look like they are appliqued.

craftybear 06-01-2011 07:15 PM

pretty pattern

spinnergs 06-01-2011 07:21 PM

Looks like it was made in 4 sections, should be easy enough to make a pattern.

Buzzy Bee 06-01-2011 07:28 PM

I have made the patterns for the blades...and it is 4 blocks finished at 16 in....where I am confused---do I cut 4 blocks and applique the blades over them or piece the white pieces in seperatley...u can tell I'm kinda new at quilting

Cut 4 blocks and applique the blades over them.

If you go to page 2 of that section, there's another version called Whirling Pinwheel with slightly different blades.

If it is a 16" finished blocks, why do you have to make it in four parts? I would try cutting a 16½" background square and applique the parts directly to it. That's just me.

kwhite 06-02-2011 06:21 AM

I love the quilt but I am not a fan of the black stark center. I think I would go with a softer brown.

ranger 06-02-2011 06:31 AM

There is another called Townhouse Pinwheels..same pattern. It is in The Quilter Magazine, January 2008.

Buzzy Bee 06-02-2011 07:43 AM

that makes more sense to me !!! thanks
