Looking for a pretty spring tablerunner
I have to make a gift for our Volunteer Banquet in April. Anyone have any suggestions on a pretty tablerunner? I have alot of patterns, but was wondering if anyone had any new ideas.Thank you so much for your help, Michele

A choice of fabrics can change the look of any runner pattern!
So think spring and consider that in your selection. There's a lot of tulip patterns ... paper pieced and regular piecing that could be your focal point in a nice spring runner. Or anything floral! So many lovely fabrics .... or again lots of PP and traditional piecing ones you can create. |

I love this one, the disappearing nine patch. Have made many quilts using this technique. So fast and fun.

Try Cotton Blossom patterns, they have some darling table runners for all seasons, I've made a tom of them.

How about the spicy spiral runner in spring colours. Tutorial available here.

A board member recently posted a wonderful quilt she had made to hang over her mother-in-law's bed. It was based on "Bird on a Branch," a wall hanging by Becky Goldsmith/Linda Jenkins. The board member had turned the bird to make a horizontal instead of a vertical wall hanging. It would make a spectacular table runner in spring colors.... I think if you google "Bird on a Branch" wall hanging or quilt, you would probably find it. I'm sorry I'm unable to recall the name of the board member.
