Maybe you can check your library or quilting buddies to see if they have the book. They do have some used ones on Amazon also. Not sure when you needed to get started on it.

This is also on my list of patterns to try. Look forward to seeing the results.

This is the easiest pattern you can imagine - I've done 3 or 4 of them and I LOVE them because they look like so much more than what they are. They're Wickedly Easy on the byAnnie site: http://www.byannie.com/free-patterns/

They go together so fast, you won't believe it. And if you get enough contrast in there, it will just sparkle. :)

Here are the third (full size) and first one (king size) I made in Texas fabrics - the second Texas one (also king-size) went overseas with my husband and I didn't get a good picture of it:

Love the tutorial Double Layer cake. that is so super easy and cute.

AUQuilter 03-29-2012 06:43 PM

To the poly parrot,

Thanks for posting the quilts you made using Wickedly Easy pattern. I had pulled that out of my notebook and got out FQs but wondered how it would look. Love the FQ patterns and those with multiple sizes.

thepolyparrot 03-29-2012 07:01 PM

AUQuilter, I think I had around 45-50 different fabrics, but this pattern looks good in a lot fewer fabrics and in a much more limited palette. I like the FQ patterns, too. :)

I love the Turning Twenty Pattern books. I also like the Yellow Brick Road pattern when you need easy and quick!

I love MSQ tutorials. They are the best and most fun and their daily deals are great.

There is a easy and quick pattern for sale. It is Just Can't cut it .by All Washed Up. www.allwashesupquilts.com.
I love it have made over forty of them for gifts. The lap is like a twin size. I cut it in half and make two lap quilts, but have to buy extra fabric for the other boarder.

I checked out this video and loved this fabric and just spent $50 buying some. I thought I was doing so well by just coming to the QB and not shopping and then...oops! Dang, I thought I could contain myself! I loved the fabric!!! Took me a long time to find some online. Every place was sold out.
