Seems like it is a variation of a windmill block. The closest I have found thus far in searching is on this website:

Here is another one (scroll halfway down on the page). She is calling her quilt Valor Windmills...
http://myreddoordesignsblog.blogspot...-paginate=true I think the block may be called Baby Windmills? At least that is what she is calling it on the website linked above. |
Finally a website with a tutorial.
https://newquilters.com/windmill-qui...cing-tutorial/ I have been searching for rectangle windmills. |
I saw it called two something. but the last link is right on!

Check out Meadow Mist Designs. She has books and patterns and makes + (plus) sign quilts in any variation you can think of.

I am in the process of making twin quilts with this pattern. It is called PEPPERMINT EASY (bought the pattern online) because the pattern was made with red fabric. I used reds also.
It is an easy pattern as long as you don't put the blocks together backwards...ask me how I know. Ripped out 60 blocks because I did not want to find a mistake later after it was all put together and quilted. I had 100 blocks going in one directions and 60 blocks going in another direction. Just keep one block in front of you as you sew them together. |
