I made one from a pattern called Coconut Chips that was very easy. Nothing to match up. And Another I've used called Lemon Pepper. There are a lots of them out there.

Go to the Tutorial section of this board and look at my directions for the Five Easy Pieces Charity quilt. Super easy with nothing to match.

My favorite all time pattern is Yellow Brick Road. I have made several of these and I loved them all. I'll see if I can post some of them. I think these are all YBR.

Look for Eleanor Burns Quick trip Around the World for a pattern with no intersecting seams. Easy and fun.

The MSQ tutorial for Disappearing 9 Patch mentions several ways to lay the blocks out and Jenny suggests one that has nothing whatsoever to match. I just finished making my first one. It won't be the last. This may be what Mandyrose is referring to above.

I wanted to make the same suggestion. This quilt is made assembly line fashion, has no seams to match, and works up rather quickly. She even gives hints for choosing fabric for a nice "look". I made a queen size, wedding gift quilt, in just under two weeks. I am not a fast quilt maker, but this is my "hurry and get it done" pattern. It was also the first quilt I machine quilted so "stitch in the ditch" on it was easy and relatively quick.

Double slice quilt from MSQC. It calls for a layer cake but I have made it with fewer fabrics.

Would it have been the disappearing 9-patch with the black sashing between?
