I have searched high and low, saw it on a quilt on here, the lady who had the quilt had had it quilted and didn't know where the design came from. Anybody have an idea?

There would be a lot of traveling (stitching over a previously stitched path) to make it continuous and I don't see any wobbles, I would guess it is computerized and the pattern was stitched turned 90 degrees from your photo. I'm often wrong on these things ;) so it will be interesting to see!

Looks similar to an upside down fleur de lis. I think it might be a pantograph. I don't think it's computer-guided because I *think* I can see imperfections in the stitching.

I'm pretty certain it is a computer guided design, wish I could find where I can order it from

There is a book "501 Design Motifs" which has this pattern in it. You might check your library or check on Amazon if you'd like to have your own copy. It has been out for many years so it shouldn't be expensive.

You can also try a company called Digi-tech.

Mountain Mist had this when they were still selling batting (the quilt patterns were part of the label in each package). I don't remember which sheet it was, but maybe there is someone out there that still has some of those.
