My 9 year old granddaughter is learning to sew. She made an apron while visiting me. She did fine except she's left handed and didn't do well with regular scissors. I'm looking for info on where I can get some good, but inexpensive left handed fabric cutting scissors.

There is a Lefty.com that has all things for lefties. I order scissors for my husband from them.

I buy mine at Joanns Fabric.
Nice aprons. |
Cute grands!!!!

Joannes Fiskars and their rotary cutters are bi-handed - Olfas can be reversed for lefties. Or just buy scissors that are bi-handed.

Ginghers's lightweight (black plastic) are wonderful. They are not too much, under $20 and with a coupon at JoAnn's, very affordable. They are for both left and right, but work well for me - I am very left handed. Gingher's expensive left handed scissors are true left handed and I can't cut with them.

I never could find a comfortable pair of left handed scissors.. I've ended up with Fiskers Bi-handed.... u adjust( I've sewn all my life with right handed scissors in my left hand.. just got my bihanded scissors a few years ago... same with everything else... tools, etc)
